Pages & Content Management ​

Create and manage content pages for your Comps.gg platform.

Pages Management

Routes ​

  • /admin/pages - List all pages
  • /admin/pages/new - Create new page
  • /admin/pages/[id] - Edit existing page

Overview ​

The Pages section provides a simple CMS for creating and managing static content pages like Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, About Us, and more.

Pages List ​

Pages List

Statistics ​

  • Total Pages - All pages in the system
  • Published - Live pages visible to users
  • Draft - Pages not yet published

Features ​

  • Search - Find pages by title or slug
  • Filter - Filter by status (published, draft)
  • Actions:
    • Create new page
    • Edit page content
    • View published page
    • Delete page

Creating a Page ​

Create Page

Route ​

/admin/pages/new

Steps ​

  1. Navigate to /admin/pages
  2. Click "Create Page" button
  3. Fill in page details:
    • Title - Page headline
    • Slug - URL path (auto-generated from title)
    • Content - Page body (Markdown or HTML)
    • Status - Draft or Published
  4. Configure SEO settings (optional):
    • Meta description
    • Meta keywords
    • Open Graph tags
  5. Click "Create Page"

Content Editor ​

The content editor supports:

  • Markdown - Use Markdown syntax for formatting
  • HTML - Write custom HTML
  • Preview - Preview before publishing
  • Auto-save - Drafts saved automatically

Editing a Page ​

Edit Page

Route ​

/admin/pages/[id]

Steps ​

  1. Navigate to /admin/pages
  2. Click "Edit" on desired page
  3. Modify page content
  4. Update SEO settings if needed
  5. Change status (draft/published)
  6. Click "Save Changes"

Version History ​

  • View previous versions
  • Restore earlier versions
  • Track who made changes
  • See change timestamps

SEO Configuration ​

Meta Information ​

  • Meta Title - Override page title for SEO
  • Meta Description - Search result description
  • Meta Keywords - Relevant keywords
  • Canonical URL - Prevent duplicate content issues

Open Graph ​

Configure social media sharing:

  • OG Title - Social share title
  • OG Description - Social share description
  • OG Image - Social share image
  • OG Type - Content type (article, website, etc.)

Common Use Cases ​

Terms of Service ​

  1. Create new page titled "Terms of Service"
  2. Add your terms content
  3. Set slug to terms or terms-of-service
  4. Publish page
  5. Link from footer

Privacy Policy ​

  1. Create new page titled "Privacy Policy"
  2. Add privacy policy content
  3. Set slug to privacy or privacy-policy
  4. Configure SEO
  5. Publish and link from footer

About Us ​

  1. Create new page titled "About Us"
  2. Add company information
  3. Include team photos via media gallery
  4. Set slug to about
  5. Publish and link from navigation

Tips ​

  • Use descriptive slugs for better SEO
  • Preview pages before publishing
  • Configure SEO for better search visibility
  • Keep important pages updated
  • Use drafts for work-in-progress
  • Link related pages together
  • Monitor page views in analytics
