Your Site Header

Build the bar at the top of your site out of widgets — your logo, menu links, wallet balance, basket, account buttons, plus optional extras like a live "Winners today" counter, your own link buttons, and a one-tap WhatsApp or phone button. Choose what goes where on computers, what stays on phones, and what appears in the slide-out menu.

Where to find it: Admin → Header (/admin/appearance/header). The link appears in your admin sidebar if your account can manage settings.

What a widget is

Everything in your header is a widget. You add, remove, drag and configure each one, and your site rebuilds the header from what you've set.

Widget	What it does
Logo	Your site logo, linking back to the home page. Required.
Basket	The basket icon and its ticket count. Required.
Menu button	The burger button that opens the slide-out menu. Required.
Menu links	The links from one of your menus, laid out in a row.
Wallet balance	A signed-in customer's balance, linking to their wallet.
Account buttons	My Account when signed in, Login and Sign Up when not.
Stat badge	A live number from your site, such as winners today.
Link button	A button of your own, pointing anywhere you like.
Contact button	One-tap WhatsApp, phone or email.
Jackpot	Your live jackpot total, updating as customers play.

Three of them — Logo, Basket and Menu button — carry a REQUIRED badge and can't be removed. The logo is how customers get home, the basket is the only route to checkout, and the burger is the only navigation on a phone.

Header widgets are fixed-height pills with a maximum width, so a header stays a header however much you add to it. You can have one of most widgets, with a few exceptions: up to three stat badges, three link buttons and three contact buttons, and up to two menu links widgets — so a second menu can fill the row below the bar. The limits count your whole bar, not each area, so a stat badge on the right also uses up a slot for the row below.

Where did Nav Layout go?

The Settings → Appearance → Nav Layout setting is gone. Your existing header was carried across exactly as it was, and this page is where your header lives now.

Move things around

The bar has four areas, each with its own list:

• Left, Middle and Right — the three parts of the bar itself.
• Row below — a full-width strip underneath the bar. The strip only shows on computers, so it suits a row of menu links, and required widgets can't go in it. A widget placed here can still be pinned to the phone bar — the strip disappearing on phones doesn't take its widgets with it.

Drag a widget by its handle to reorder it inside an area, or drag it into a different area. The arrows beside the handle do the same thing if you'd rather not drag.

The preview at the top of the page updates as you go, showing your header on a computer, on a phone, and with the slide-out menu open.

Decide what shows on phones

A phone header has room for about four things, so it gets its own list rather than squashing the whole bar.

Pin more than fits and nothing disappears: the bar scrolls sideways instead, and your logo keeps its size and shape. The phone preview warns you when the pinned set is too wide for a smaller phone screen, so if you see that note, consider unpinning something.

Every widget row has a phone button. On phones means it's pinned to the phone bar; Off phones means it's only on the computer version. Under the four area lists, the On phones panel lets you drag the pinned widgets into the order visitors see, left to right.

If you want finer control, open a widget's settings and use Show on:

• Computers and phones — the normal choice.
• Computers only — takes it off the phone bar.
• Phones only — hides it from the computer bar while keeping it on phones. This is how a burger button sits on a phone header without appearing on a desktop one.

The three required widgets have to be on the phone bar too. Take one off and the page tells you before you can save.

Set up the slide-out menu

The Slide-out menu tab is what the burger button opens, and it's a separate arrangement from the bar — a widget on the bar isn't automatically in the menu, and the other way round. Its widgets render as full-width rows down the panel.

Nothing is required here: the menu is an optional panel. The "Get the App" link is part of the platform rather than a widget, so it always appears with your menu links.

Configure each widget

Click the pencil on any widget row to open its settings.

Logo

Logo size — Small through to Extra extra large. This is the only place to set it — it used to also live on the Appearance tab of Settings, and now lives with the rest of your header.

Menu links

Which menu — your Header, Footer or Legal menu. Edit the links themselves under Content → Menus.

Wallet balance

What to show:

• Credit and cash — both balances, with cash on a second line. This is what every site shows today.
• Credit only — hides the cash figure.
• Icon only — the wallet link with no figures at all.

Signed-out visitors never see the wallet, whichever you pick.

Account buttons

Compact buttons — smaller buttons, "Account" instead of "My Account", and no Login button, since signed-out visitors reach it from the slide-out menu instead. Leave it off unless your header is tight for space.

Stat badge

A live number from your own site.

1. Pick the Number to show — winners today, winners in total, instant wins today, value won today, prizes won, live competitions, or players. The current figure for your site is shown underneath, so you can see what visitors would see before you save.
2. Optionally set a Label to reword it — "Winners today" could read "Lucky ducks today".
3. Optionally set a Starting number. It's added to the live figure, so a site that ran elsewhere before moving here can carry its old totals across.

The badge refreshes about once a minute, so it moves as your competitions run.

A stat badge shows nothing at all until the number is available, rather than showing a zero. A brand new site with no winners yet shows an empty space where the badge will be.

Link button

A button of your own.

1. Button text — up to 30 characters. Long labels are trimmed rather than allowed to push your logo off small screens.
2. Where it goes — a page on your site (start with /, for example /competitions) or a full https:// address. Anything else is rejected as you type. External links open in a new tab.
3. Icon — pick from the list, or No icon.
4. Style — Solid, Gradient or Outline.
5. Colours — your theme's colours are offered as swatches first, and the picker beside them takes any colour you like. Leave them empty and the button follows your theme, so it keeps up when you change your site's colours later.

Jackpot

Your live jackpot total, in the header.

1. Optionally set a Label to override the name from your jackpot settings for this widget only. Leave it empty and it follows the name you set there, so renaming your jackpot renames it here too.
2. Choose what to Show — Name and amount, or Amount only if your header is already busy.
3. Choose what happens When tapped:
   • Go to the jackpot on your homepage — jumps to the Jackpot block. This only lands somewhere if you've added that block to your homepage, so add it from Pages or pick one of the other two.
   • Go to a page you choose — pick any of your pages, or paste a full https:// address. Use this if you've built the jackpot a page of its own.
   • Do nothing — the amount still updates, it just isn't clickable.

The pill updates as customers buy, and switches to a celebration when somebody wins.

There is only one jackpot, so you can add one of these. It shows nothing at all when your jackpot is switched off or between pots, rather than showing a zero — see show the jackpot on your site.

Contact button

One tap to reach you.

1. How people reach you — WhatsApp, Phone call, or Email.
2. The number or address. Write a phone number however you like — 01234 567890 or +44 (0)1234-567890 both work.
3. Optionally, Button text to replace the default ("WhatsApp", "Call us", "Email us").

WhatsApp needs the full international number, starting with your country code. A UK mobile written as 07700 900123 needs to be +447700900123 — WhatsApp doesn't recognise the national form, and the button would open to "this number is not on WhatsApp".

Save your changes

The bar along the bottom of the page shows whether you have unsaved changes, and stays in view however far down you've scrolled.

Save header publishes the whole arrangement to your live site at once. It stays greyed out while there's anything to fix — the red Fix these before saving panel lists each problem in plain terms, and the widget it belongs to is flagged with a Needs attention badge.

Undo my changes puts everything back to the last saved version.

If another admin saves the header while you have it open, you'll be asked whether to Load their version (discarding your unsaved changes) or Overwrite their version. Nothing is lost silently either way. If the page says it couldn't check for other changes, nothing was saved — try again.
